Happy Thanksgiving!

Both Emily and Grace's families came to the Farm for Thanksgiving! The whole Myler-side was together and we sure had a blast! Once again Grace got some wonderful pictures (square ones with borders) that I have included.

(Back: Boppy, Me, Gamma, Ray, David holding Caleb, Josh holding Hannah, Sam, and Jack) Emily holding Lindsay, BJ holding Katie, and Rob:

The weather was cloudy and rainy for the most part, but the boys all took turns hunting with Boppy and Unkie. Jack was the lucky one to actually shot something. The squirrel ending up tasting pretty good too!

Emily got this for Boppy:

Katie still "climbs every mountain" on her Boppy even though she is getting kinda big. She wasn't happy about me snapping a picture because I was interrupting her movie watching:

This is a fun gift we did for Uncle Rob. His pants that were meant for the trash made it to us with some of BJs stuff so we added a feature:

Uncle Rob with Hannah and Caleb:

Caleb was is the youngest of my nephews and it is crazy to see how much he has grown:

These were taken a bit before we went to the Farm but I love how he just makes himself comfortable when he is eating.

Even though it was Thanksgiving, we exchanged some gifts and spent a lot of time playing!

Holidays go by so quickly, I am so glad we got to spend so much time with each other!

Our Family

The month of November has reminded me of the wonderful blessing my family is in my life. I am blessed to have the best husband in the world. He has been my best friend for 10 years now and I can't imagine my life without him. We have two wonderful children and our youngest Katie is a brillant little girl who loves to dress up:

Have her hair done:

Help with laundry:

Share good news (her Daddy finally got an Xbox One):

watch good shows:

and help take care of babies/puppies:

(especially our Rose)

This is THE puppy her Daddy got for her when she was born. She dressed he up to match her outfit for the day:

Our oldest is this wonderful young man who takes after his father and loves to play video games:

 and enjoy a good meal:

I don't have adequate words to describe the happiness it brings me to see my husband get to enjoy our children. I know that we don't always have a ton of time spend with him and it is staggering how quickly they are growing up. My greatest desire is to make sure we enjoy the time we do have.

Happy Halloween!

Katie and I helped the boys get ready to go on their first hunt together. BJ and his Dad have been hunting together and his Dad with his Dad in a great tradition of Mallard Boys. I really didn't get all the excitement until this time as I watched BJ get everything set up.

Ray barely slept! He came in three times to ask BJ if it was time to go yet. When the time to get dressed finally came...the joy on their faces!

Just a few hours later, I got this amazing picture!
So proud of my men! They did an awesome job!

The wonderful upright freezer is well on its way to getting full:)

Steaks, stew cubes, medallions, loins, and roasts all processed and ready to cook up!

Katie let me curl her hair just like "the new Cinderella"

She wanted makeup too!

She loved how she looked and posed for picture after picture. All the while BJ and I couldn't believe how old she looked!

Trick or Treating was a success and we made quite the haul for just staying in our neighborhood!

Daddy and Hulk's stash!

Katie's favorite was the suckers!

Yesterday:

Coming down from the sugar high and the early darkness from Daylight Savings made snuggling to watch a movie the perfect thing to do:
