July Part 3



We took a lift up to the top of Stone Mountain. It has a craving of Stonewall Jackson, Robert E. Lee and Jefferson Davis from the Civil War that is 76 feet high and 160 feet wide, making it the largest in the world!















Fernbank Museum of Natural History:



The floor titles were from Germany and had all kinds of fossils in them!






Traffic level four! We decided driving four hours to stay the night in  Savannah was a good idea, because from there it was only 20 mins to Tybee Island!





After a day at the beach:



Leaving Atlanta:



High and fast shuttle ride from Hertz to the airport.

By the end of it all the kids were super pros at escalators, here Ray is walking backwards on the moving walkway between concourses at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.  




Home, showered and ready to sleep in her own bed:
