Happy Anniversary!

May 5th: So with all the driving and other adventuring of this past week, Amanda and I both forgot this morning that it was our 11th anniversary!! (We knew it was today, just got distracted). Nothing great scheduled, just a dinner of beef stew in a campground in western Kansas, and the promise of more driving tomorrow!! I love you Amanda Myler with all of my heart, and am so grateful to be on this journey with you!!!

 

 
  

Here we go!

May 2nd, Davisville MO: As some of you may know, we leave tomorrow for our road trip around the Southwest. Well, what's a trip without a little adventure!!! The flooding in Missouri has shut down almost all the routes we can take through the state, with more rain set to fall tomorrow. If we see an ark floating down the Mississippi, we are turning back.

Gearing up

As I scrambled to finish everything up to be gone for almost a month,

Then we packed up everything and headed to the farm!

Just some fun things we've done! 

Rose

Ray and Katie help feed our dog Rose and it has been fun to see how Rose has started to notice them more. Ray and her have a few games they play, hide and seek is fun to watch. She also LOVES to chew on things. We recently tried the Extreme Kong again and she' shredded it even faster this time! So BJ found a new toy that can be replaced when she chews it down!

After helping the kids do their projects at Home Depot we knocked out a bunch of little projects that we've added up since we moved in! They've been collecting on our Butler's Pantry, so it meant a lot to have it cleared:
