Let the Fun Begin
Emily, Lindsay, and all the boys where in St. Louis to visit so we all got together for a great time! We were getting ready to go to Grant's Farm (at Grace's house whom took all but the video in this post) when Frank and Sam bust out some moves:

Finally Back on the Boat
The repairs were a success! The boat is back and as fun as ever!
Kiddos fished, swam, tubed, and floated till they literally dropped:

Just Chillin'
So Katie loves to pick out her own books at the library. Here she is cuddled with her elephant reading "Princess Dairies" as in the all words, no pictures, chapter book!
If you look closely you can see the bright pink/red plastic toy Rose chewed to death before settling down for a nap:
My niece Lindsay has dreamed of having a dinosaur dress just like another full, frilly dress she has...so Katie, Gamma, and I made it happen:
These are the pictures Emily sent from Omaha of Lindsay enjoying the dress:
Dressing up, Raymond style. He is already planning ahead for Halloween!
This was after a shower one night after she had fallen and bitten her lip, poor girl:(
Getting Amazon packages is so exciting it feels like Christmas, but when BJ got a cart delivered to the house for work....it was on a whole different level!

Beauty and the Beast at the Muny
Ray, Katie and I met up with Gamma, Boppy, Grace, and her family for a night at the Muny!
As always Grace took some of the best pictures (the next four) of some of the things we did while waiting for it to get dark:
Here I am with Caleb, he loved the cold washcloths Unkie (BJ) sent with me:
Ray "forgot" to take his cloth out of the bag first! Silly kid!
Katie took this selfie:
So Hannah took some too:
Hannah even got this gorgeous one of the setting sun:
The show was wonderful and Katie loved all the songs, but she managed to get her hands pinched in Hannah's seat from behind and fell asleep in my lap before it was over. Grace was kind enough to let us crash at her place before heading home the next day. That is AFTER Katie helped feed and take care of her cousin Caleb:
Grace took this one of the kids golfing together, I love the poses my kiddos come up with:
I was a bit jealous they would all look at Aunt Grace for a picture, because this is what I took:
We wanted to stay longer but had to get back to Rose and Daddy (it was a very quiet ride home):
Daddy had a great Family Night planned for us and we cooked on our camp stove:

Pike County Fair
Yesterday Katie and I went through her dolls and animals and did a little cleaning.
She decided that it would be OK to make a new home for this many and was actually excited to give them away. (The Minnie is for her Gamma) I was so proud of her quick, confident decisions.
It was a good thing because the first thing Ray did at the fair that night was to win her a new pink elephant! Ray also got 2 balls and a blue car, while Katie made out with a sword and ball.
She held a real bunny
Rode a Pony
Daddy loved the truck pull and Ray rode the Round Up Ride (where you stand in a circle facing each other, spinning faster and faster until the whole wheel tips up on its side high up in the air) with Daddy, and then with me when he was too short for the Ring of Fire....imagine the craziness.

Six Flags
My fabulous Sister-in-Law, Grace, took all these pictures the two I happened to take didn't turn out. I mean seriously! Look at these smiles! My Mother-in Law we call Gamma and my nephew Caleb:
My niece Hannah, Ray and Katie waiting in the heat to go on rides:
Train time
Girly plane:
We did our best to stay cool in the record making heat:
In all it was a great time! The kids all had fun and Ray even took me on the Ninja roller coaster! This crazy ride had 4 upside down loops and all kinds of scream inducing stunts! I will never forget the look on Ray's face as we got on and off! So much joy and excitement about one ride! He can't wait till he is tall enough to ride the Batman and Mr Freeze.
